Questions about what it’s like to work together?

Here are some of the most common questions I get from families about therapy. If you don’t see your question answered below, contact me.

  • I am located in Chico in the Philadelphia Square office complex, near the corner of Eaton and Esplanade, in the Lemon Hill building. My office is located upstairs, through the doors on the far side of the building.

  • My fee is $165 per hour session for individuals, couples, or families. I offer sliding scale fees for affordability. I can also provide “superbills” for insurance reimbursement.

  • Yes.

  • A secure, HIPAA-compliant link for a video telehealth platform will be sent via text or email to you prior to our scheduled appointment time.

  • The first appointment is an intake session where we become comfortable with one another as I gather basic information and we go over the consent forms and privacy policy. I will also gather some background information about what brought you in to therapy so I can develop a clear understanding of what your needs are.

  • That depends on your needs and goals. The sooner we can work to understand what brought you into therapy and what your goals are the sooner we will get you there. I am not the type of therapist that offers paid friendship. I work in a focused, goal-directed manner out of respect for our time and your money.
